Attorney Petruzzi, lawyer for Domenico Caliendo's family
Naples – Agreement reached for compensation for the death of little Domenico Caliendo: the Colli Hospital and the family have reached an agreement. Francesco Petruzzi, the lawyer representing the Caliendo-Mercolino family, announced the news. "We are completely satisfied," Petruzzi commented, "and so is mother Patrizia. Monaldi has awarded us compensation and, more importantly, has spared us a civil lawsuit that would have added further pain to the family. Now we can focus on the criminal proceedings."
This morning at 10:00 a.m., the Caliendo family's lawyer met with Raffaele Cuccurullo, director of Legal Affairs at the Colli Hospital, to finalize the out-of-court compensation request filed by the lawyers representing the family of little Domenico Caliendo, the child who died in intensive care on February 21 after a failed heart transplant.
The meeting, which lasted about two hours, gave the outcome the family had hoped for for little Domenico.
