Inspections of buildings in Pozzuoli continue following the bradyseism of July 31, with 28 people returning to their homes and 215 buildings still declared uninhabitable out of a total of 1.207 requests for funding for independent rehabilitation.

Campi Flegrei: 28 people return home, while 215 buildings remain uninhabitable after the bradyseism.
Nearly a month after the bradyseism that struck the Phlegraean Fields, inspection and assistance activities continue with the deployment of 24 firefighter teams in Pozzuoli. To date, 1.473 technical interventions have been carried out to assess the stability of buildings, with 215 properties declared uninhabitable, including 1.081 residential units. The Municipality has issued 367 evacuation or interdiction orders, affecting 1.391 households.
A total of 3.488 people are receiving assistance: the majority, 3.321, have settled independently, while 143 are staying in hotels and 52 are being hosted at the Palatrincone. After second-level assessments, seven orders have been revoked, allowing 28 people to return to their homes. Further assessments indicate the possibility of repatriation for approximately 40 additional housing units.
At the same time, the Municipality of Pozzuoli is proceeding with the disbursement of grants for autonomous development (CAS), with 726 payments already made out of 1.207 applications submitted. Maintenance and repair work on damaged school buildings is also continuing, as is planning for the safety of a building on Via Roma, which is subject to an order prohibiting heavy vehicles from entering.
To ensure the continuity of maritime trade connections from the port of Pozzuoli to the islands of Ischia and Procida, temporary solutions have been identified, including moving night sailings to Naples and replacing a high-speed vessel with a traditional one with a higher cargo capacity. These measures, experimental in nature and limited to 30 days, are being finalized while the authorities continue to monitor them.
