Naples is preparing to strengthen security strategies in the Porta Capuana and Secondigliano areas, which have been the scene of serious incidents of violence in recent days. During the meeting of the provincial committee for public order and safety, Prefect Michele Di Bari emphasized the need to strengthen surveillance measures after further brawls and one person was seriously injured at Porta Capuana, despite intensified security.

Specifically, the prefect explained that in response to requests from the Municipality and local committees, more effective and diversified forms of surveillance have been adopted, but recent events require a further increase in patrols and targeted prevention interventions.

In Secondigliano, however, a car crash during the White Night raised particular concern, especially in a context of celebration and social normality, suggesting that the security strategy implemented so far needs to be refined.

Prefect Di Bari expressed confidence in the work of the police and the judiciary, hoping that the incidents in question will soon be resolved through legal action. The authorities remain vigilant to ensure the safety of residents and businesses in the affected areas.
