Massimiliano Allegri has named Napoli's lineup for their debut against Genoa, with few unknowns and some key decisions to make.

Napoli near their league debut: Marin favored over Olivera, De Bruyne on the bench
Ahead of Napoli's first league match, which will see them face Genoa on Saturday at 6:30 PM at Marassi, coach Massimiliano Allegri has outlined a nearly ready squad. The arrival of recent reinforcements, such as Favasuli and Badiashile, completes the squad, while the starting lineup seems to be finalized. The only doubt concerns Rrahmani's defensive partner: Rafa Marin appears to have the edge over Olivera, but the decision is not yet final.
Otherwise, Napoli is expected to retain the same lineup as they played in the last friendly against Aris. Meret will defend the posts in goal, with Di Lorenzo and Spinazzola on the flanks. In midfield, Lobotka will lead the way, flanked by Anguissa and McTominay. Cameroonian Anguissa is currently in negotiations for a contract renewal, with requests for a raise, but for now his focus is on his performance on the pitch.
In attack, pending any potential new signings like Gabriel Jesus, Hojlund will play as a central striker, supported by Politano and Alisson on the flanks. De Bruyne, on the other hand, is expected to start on the bench, ready to come on as the game progresses.
Allegri's pre-season press conference is scheduled for tomorrow at 2:00 PM, after which the team will travel to Genoa to prepare for the opening match.
