A relentless search continues for a missing elderly woman in Capaccio-Paestum.

An elderly woman in her eighties disappeared this morning in Capaccio-Paestum, in the province of Salerno. According to family members, the woman left her home on Via dei Feudi, presumably intending to reach a nearby cornfield, but has not been heard from since.

A missing person report was promptly filed with the Carabinieri, who immediately launched a search operation. The operation involves firefighters with ground teams and the helicopter unit, which also uses the "Drago" helicopter, as well as drones and the canine unit to increase the likelihood of finding him.

The search continues unabated in the hope of tracking down the old woman as soon as possible.
