Sant'Antonio Abate: Fire in a house: owner burned

Sant'Antonio Abate – Fear erupted overnight in Sant'Antonio Abate, where a fire broke out inside a home at number 82, Via Nocera. The alarm triggered the intervention of the Carabinieri of the Castellammare di Stabia mobile radio unit.

The fire in a room

According to initial reconstructions, the flames likely developed due to a short circuit in the electrical system. The fire affected and damaged only one room of the apartment, without spreading to the rest of the building.

The attempt to put out the flames

The owner reportedly tried to put out the fire himself, but was burned while trying to contain it. After receiving first aid, he was taken to the San Leonardo Hospital in Castellammare di Stabia.

Fortunately, his condition is not particularly worrying: the man's life is not in danger.

Investigations are underway to precisely reconstruct the dynamics of the fire and confirm its accidental origin, linked to the presumed malfunction of the electrical system.
