Luca Esposito, a journalist killed, will have his funeral on Thursday.

Nocera Superiore – The funeral of Luigi Esposito, known as Luca, the sports journalist killed in Eboli between July 18th and 19th, will be held in Nocera Superiore next Thursday.

Ridha Rahmouni, the 26-year-old Tunisian man who confessed to the crime after his arrest, is in prison for the murder and destruction of the body.

The funeral will be held in the church of Santa Maria Maggiore at 11 a.m. at the request of sisters Ida and Francesca.

After completing all the necessary investigations, the prosecutor's office approved the return of the body to the family. Meanwhile, investigations continue to clarify numerous aspects of Esposito's death, particularly in light of the motive described by the killer.

The body of Luigi Luca Esposito was found completely burned in Eboli, in the Cioffi area, on the night of July 18-19. An autopsy revealed that the 53-year-old had been suffocated but was still alive when he was set on fire.
