Vomero: Police and Financial Police fine three establishments

Yesterday evening, the Vomero neighborhood was the scene of a joint operation between the State Police and the Guardia di Finanza, aimed at ensuring security in the nightlife area. Several individuals were identified and businesses fined for tax irregularities.

Intense patrols took place last night in the Vomero neighborhood, one of the hubs of Neapolitan nightlife. The operation, coordinated by the Naples Police Headquarters, involved officers from the Vomero Police Station along with members of the Guardia di Finanza. The operations focused on key areas such as San Martino, Piazza Vanvitelli, Piazza Medaglie d'Oro, and Via Giordano, Via Scarlatti, and Via Falcone.

During the operation, a total of 19 individuals were identified, including seven with police records. The checks included eight businesses, three of which were fined for irregularities related to the failure to periodically check their electronic cash registers and the failure to connect their POS terminals. Additionally, officers also verified the whereabouts of three individuals subject to restrictive measures or alternatives to detention.

The operation is part of the Police Headquarters' plan to ensure greater safety and legality in nightlife areas, combating illegal behavior and administrative irregularities that could compromise the peace of mind of residents and neighborhood patrons.
