Succivo: 24-year-old arrested for threatening mother for money

At dawn this morning, Carabinieri officers from the Marcianise Company's Mobile Radio Unit arrested a 24-year-old resident of Succivo for domestic abuse and attempted aggravated extortion against his 51-year-old mother.

According to the military's reconstruction, the intervention was necessary following threatening behavior directed at the mother and a request for money.

The incident, as reported by investigators, is not linked to a single episode but rather involves a series of threatening behaviors that have continued over time within the family, culminating this morning in the attempted extortion.

Following the investigation, the 24-year-old was arrested in flagrante delicto and, after the usual formalities, was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he will be held by the judicial authorities. The arrestee's status remains under review by the judicial authorities and will be determined in the subsequent phases of the proceedings, respecting the presumption of innocence until a final sentence is reached.

The operation was conducted by the Carabinieri in compliance with established procedures, with the aim of putting an end to threatening conditions within the family unit.
