America's Cup in Naples: Extended public transportation hours

Naples is ready for the America's Cup by strengthening public transportation with extended timetables and enhanced services. The ANM, the Neapolitan mobility company, has announced a series of measures to facilitate travel during the regatta, with particular attention to evening and nighttime hours.

– Reference period: September 24-27, 2026. During these dates, Metro Line 1 will extend its service until 2:00 AM, with last departures from Centro Direzionale at 1:32 AM and from Piscinola at 1:20 AM. Line 6 will extend its service with last departures from Mostra and Municipio at 00:30 AM.

– Surface transport: on the main lines, transport will continue until 00:30 AM to facilitate travel between affected areas of the city.

– Funiculars and elevator: From September 25th to 27th, the Mergellina Funicular will extend its service, with the last ride at 00:30 AM. On September 24th, the Mergellina, Chiaia, and Centrale funiculars will close at 00:30 AM; the Monte Echia elevator will remain open until that time. Additionally, on September 25th and 26th, the Chiaia and Centrale funiculars will extend their service until 2:00 AM.

– Operational objective: to provide a more seamless transit network between the main access points to the America's Cup venues and maritime areas, minimizing waiting times for athletes, staff, and fans.
