Following the incident on September 15 near the Cumana station, the Carabinieri have stepped up patrols in the Pianura and Rione Traiano neighborhoods, seizing drugs and issuing fines to businesses.

New anti-drug raid in the Traiano district
Naples – The Carabinieri of the Bagnoli company have increased checks in the Pianura and Rione Traiano neighborhoods, at the request of the Prefecture.
In the Traiano district, during a search of Via Marco Aurelio, 182 grams of marijuana, as well as doses of crack and cocaine, were found inside a cavity between a home and the condominium stairwell at number 214.
Drug packaging material was also seized.
Last night, with the assistance of local health authority (ASL) staff, the military inspected several businesses. In Pianura, a pastry shop and delicatessen on Corso Duca d'Aosta was suspended due to serious hygiene and structural deficiencies. The owner was fined €1000 and the business was reduced to a single production/sales line.
Prescriptions were also served to a business on Via Vecchia Comunale that sells drinks and food; the owner was fined €2000.
