Customers coming and going from a home, and the suspicion that drug dealing was behind the activity. This prompted a State Police search in Casalnuovo di Napoli, culminating in the arrest of a 39-year-old man with a criminal record, including specific criminal records.
Officers from the Acerra Police Station, engaged in operations to combat drug dealing, noticed a constant stream of people heading toward a home.
The police intervened and checked two individuals as they exited the building. Both were found in possession of narcotics, which, according to investigators, had apparently been recently purchased.
At that point, the officers extended their search to the apartment, where they found the 39-year-old in possession of a quantity of drugs intended, according to the contested hypothesis, for drug dealing.
During the search, 20 sticks of hashish, weighing a total of 75 grams, and 34 small bags of marijuana, weighing another 30 grams, were seized. The residence also contained €265 in cash, divided into bills of various denominations.
The 39-year-old was subsequently arrested for unlawful possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and handed over to the judicial authorities. The two buyers were fined for possession of drugs intended for personal use. The operation is part of the control services implemented by the police to combat the sale of narcotics in the area.
