The Teatro Troisi on Via Leopardi is preparing for a new season, buoyed by a fact that speaks louder than most statements: a record-breaking season ticket campaign, with 4500 season ticket holders demonstrating the audience's eager anticipation and trust.
This result confirms the city's cultural vitality and recognizes the work carried out since 2019 by patron and artistic director Pino Oliva, who has led the Fuorigrotta space. Presenting a broad and diverse season to a packed and enthusiastic audience, host Gaetano Gaudiero presented the new program's featured artists.
A program that brings together established performers and authors, opportunities for research, and performances aimed at a diverse audience, maintaining the distinctive formula that has distinguished the Troisi Theatre over the years: combining the pleasure of entertainment with a focus on artistic quality. With the patronage of the Campania Region, the collaboration of the official radio station Radio Marte and the official TV station Canale 21, the Troisi Theatre is ready to raise its curtains on a season built around big names, comedy, spectacle, and above all, the desire to experience theater to the fullest.
The program starts from October 15th to November 1st with “Welcome to the Esposito House,” starring Giovanni Esposito, Nunzia Schiano, Susy Del Giudice, Salvatore Misticone, Gennaro Silvestro, Carmen Pommella, Giampiero Schiano, and Aurora Benitozzi, directed by Alessandro Siani.
From November 5th to 22nd, “Le Pornoprecare – quelle di OnlyFals” will be coming, with Nunzia Schiano, Maria Bolignano, Yulyia Mayarchuk and Angela De Matteo, while from November 26th to December 13th, Barbara Foria will be the protagonist with “Basta un filo di rosse”.
For the holidays, from December 17th to January 17th, space is given to Ciro Ceruti with “Doppia coppia”.
The new year will continue with Simone Schettino, from January 11th to 27th and from February 2nd to 10th, in “Se tocco il fondo… sfondo!”, then Francesco Procopio, from January 21st to February 7th, in “Enemies like before”.
From February 11th to 28th it will be Paolo Caiazzo's turn with "Quasi quasi ci ritto", while from March 5th to 21st Enrico Montesano will arrive with "Ottanta voglia di stare con voi".
Spring will bring Serena Autieri, from April 1st to 18th, with “La Sciantosa”, Carlo Morelli with “That's Napoli Show”, from April 22nd to May 9th, and finally Biagio Izzo, from May 13th to 30th, with “L'arte della truffa”.
Finally, for Troisi audiences, there's a tribute to season ticket holders with the show "Fa tutto molto... Allegria" (Actually, everything is very... Allegria) on a date to be announced, starring Natalia Cretella, Francesco Viglietti, and Luisa Esposito. The non-season ticket holders' performance, from October 1st to 4th, will precede the season opening with Antonio Ottaiano starring in "C'era una volta...Guapparia," directed by Gigi Savoia.
Also on stage, with a preface by Magda Mancuso, are Oscarino Di Maio, Carla Schiavone, Vincenzo Merolla, Lello Pirone, Lucia Palmentieri, Angela Rucco, Ciro Meglio, Antonio Lippiello, Carmine Iannone, and the young Vincenzo De Simone. Completing the offering, the season ticket campaign offers the 11+1 formula, with eleven shows and one free, at a cost of €195 for the Gallery and €245 for the Stalls.
A 4+1 deal is also available, with four shows plus one free, for the price of €100. This year, season ticket holders also enjoy priority purchases for the new edition of Peppy Night with Peppe Iodice. This season is designed to take audiences on a long theatrical journey, filled with laughter, music, Neapolitan tradition, and top performers.
