Fire on Via Nuova delle Brecce: Dioxin levels below the reference value
Data updated yesterday morning show 0,082 pg/Nm3 I-TEQ, below the reference value of 0,150 pg/Nm3 I-TEQ indicated by the LAI for dioxins and related compounds.

ARPAC Campania has released the results of monitoring dioxins, furans, and dioxin-like compounds dispersed in the atmosphere near the site of the fire, which broke out on the evening of September 21st on Via Nuova delle Brecce, in the eastern suburbs of Naples. The data updated yesterday morning show concentrations lower than the reference value currently used by the scientific community.
The sum of the concentrations of the monitored pollutants was equal to 0,082 pg/Nm3 I-TEQ, compared to the value indicated by the LAI, the technical body of the Federal Republic of Germany, equal to 0,150 pg/Nm3 I-TEQ.
The investigations are still ongoing: any further significant results will be released as soon as they are available.
