Luigi Floriano, aka 'Picchietella', acquitted in a brawl in Arienzo prison.

The trial against Luigi Floriano, 40, from Arpaia, also known by the nickname “Gino 'e Picchietella,” ended in acquittal.

Floriano was charged, along with two other people, with the crime of brawling in relation to an incident that occurred inside the Arienzo prison during a previous period of detention.

The proceedings were examined by the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, which at the end of the trial pronounced a sentence of acquittal against Floriano.

The defence

The defendant was represented by lawyer Vittorio Fucci, who argued the defense's case during the proceedings.

The Court, accepting the arguments put forward by the lawyer, therefore acquitted Floriano of the contested charge.

Other favorable measures

According to the defense, the acquittal adds to other recent favorable decisions obtained by Floriano, including acquittals, discharges, and an early release order.

Lawyer Vittorio Fucci represented the 40-year-old in the various proceedings involving him.
