Naples intensifies urban decor interventions in three municipalities

This morning, Naples Municipalities 1, 2, and 3 underwent a coordinated operation to improve urban cleanliness, through the collaboration of Asia Napoli, Napoli Servizi, Social Services, the Local Health Authority (ASL), and the Local Police. The work primarily involved the removal of temporary encampments and abandoned waste in critical areas such as Piazzetta San Carlo all'Arena, Via Foria, and Piazza Cavour, where the areas were also cleaned. The homeless people present were assisted by Social Services, with some transferred to municipal shelters. In addition to these areas, cleaning operations were also carried out at the Fontana del Marinaretto in Mergellina, on Via Bisignano near the Poerio school, and on the Montesanto steps. The intervention strategy is planned by the Permanent Technical Committee for Urban Decorum, established by Mayor Gaetano Manfredi and coordinated by Ciro Turiello. The committee brings together departments, municipalities, associated companies, and law enforcement agencies to ensure timely and targeted responses to the city's needs. The weekly approach allows for activities to be concentrated in the most critical areas, ensuring constant monitoring of the area and effective collaboration among the various stakeholders.
