A part of you will live again thanks to your 'gift,' because knowing your generosity, you would have wanted it. Fly high, Anna, fly and be an angel in the clouds. Envelop us in your embrace, you, Mom, and give me the strength I need to overcome this immense pain for eternity. The pain will never go away, I already know that. Goodbye Anna, with all my love, your Mom.”*

After the touching funeral procession through the streets of Secondigliano, Anna's body was cremated. Her ashes now rest in the neighborhood cemetery, guarded by the eternal love of a community that will never forget her.
