During checks in central Naples, the Carabinieri seized a Beretta pistol with a magazine inserted and 415 grams of hashish divided into 14 packages, found in various nooks and crannies of the internal courtyard of a building on Via Correra.

Carabinieri from the Naples Central unit conducted extensive checks in the city's sensitive areas, focusing on the Historic Center, the Spanish Quarter, and Cavone. Several house searches and inspections targeted common areas, mailboxes, and electrical substations.
During the operation, the Operations Unit found a Beretta pistol with an inserted magazine and 415 grams of hashish, divided into 14 packages intended for retail sale. The weapon and the drugs were hidden in several nooks and crannies of the internal courtyard of a building on Via Francesco Saverio Correra, among meters, drainpipes, and a gutter.
The weapon will be subjected to ballistic tests to verify any possible use in crimes involving crime or other different crimes.
