A Carabinieri roadblock
Palma Campania – Carabinieri officers from the Nola Carabinieri Radiomobile Section reported three female drivers after a stop in Palma Campania. A 19-year-old was driving an Opel Corsa with two friends, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old. Officers ordered the car to stop, but it didn't stop: it repeatedly pretended to pull over, only to then drive off again. The brief escape ended after about a kilometer, when the vehicle was stopped.
During the identification process, the driver and the 15-year-old repeatedly insulted the police, while the 16-year-old provided false information. Investigations revealed that the 19-year-old had never held a driver's license and that the Opel had already been seized.
The three girls were reported. The adult also received traffic fines. The vehicle was permanently impounded. The two minors were released to their parents.
