Pozzuoli: Two brothers were stalked by their ex's new partner.

The justice system has tightened around two brothers, aged 33 and 45, believed to be responsible for a veritable escalation of stalking. Officers from the Pozzuoli Police Station executed a precautionary measure issued by the Court of Naples (GIP/GUP section), at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office – IV Investigation Section (gender-based violence and protection of vulnerable groups).

The thirty-three-year-old was sent to prison, while the forty-fifth was placed under a restraining order with the aid of an electronic bracelet.

A climate of daily terror

The two suspects targeted the new partner of one of their ex-girlfriends. According to investigators, through repeated behavior over time, the brothers subjected the victim to constant harassment and explicit threats, culminating in serious death threats.

Constant psychological pressure that left the young man in a state of constant anxiety and deep fear for his safety, even forcing him to radically change his daily habits and lifestyle.

The legal framework and the presumption of innocence

The order executed falls within the scope of the preliminary investigation. As reiterated by the judicial authorities, those subject to the precautionary measure are to be considered persons under investigation and, therefore, presumed innocent until the judicial process is completed and a final conviction is issued.
