Restart Scampia: Tomorrow's inspection of the Lot A construction site

Scampia – The "Restart Scampia" project is now in full swing. On Friday, October 2, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 14:00 p.m., the Vele di Scampia construction site – Lot A will host a press conference to review the urban regeneration plan and tour the ongoing operations. The event will take place in the Scampia neighborhood of Naples.

The press tour offers a firsthand look at the progress of a project destined to redefine not only the architecture but also the social fabric of one of the city's most iconic neighborhoods.

The initiative will bring together key institutional and social stakeholders involved in the redevelopment process: Gaetano Manfredi, Mayor of Naples; Claudia Pecoraro, Councilor for Housing Policies of the Campania Region; Laura Lieto, Deputy Mayor of Naples; the Scampia Sails Residents Committee; Emanuele Di Palo, CEO of Piloda Building; Daniele Rangone, co-founder of Settanta7; and Omero Benfenati, of the Sails Committee.
