Fisciano. He stole money from the university cafeteria vending machines: the Adisurc employee was discovered and suspended from duty. A systematic theft that allegedly defrauded him of approximately €22.000 in just a few months was discovered by Carabinieri officers of the Mercato San Severino Company. This morning, they executed a precautionary suspension from public service, issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Nocera Inferiore Court at the request of Public Prosecutor Anna Chiara Fasano. The suspect under investigation for aggravated theft is an employee of ADISURC (Campania Region Agency for the Right to University Education), employed at the University of Salerno (Fisciano campus). The investigation, conducted by the Mercato San Severino Company's Operations Unit and coordinated by Public Prosecutor Fasano, revealed, through hidden cameras, that the suspect was systematically removing cash from the vending machines located in the Fisciano university cafeteria. Specifically, the images clearly show that the individual, in the early hours of the morning and away from prying eyes, after opening the cash machines using the keys kept in the company offices, stole the money and entered a code that reset the computerized accounting system and issued a receipt, which was then obviously disappeared. The investigation identified, since the beginning of 2018, approximately €22 in missing funds from the cash machines used by students to top up their cafeteria badges. The man has been suspended from service for one year.
