"Foundlings" in the squares of Naples: the process of responsible adoptions begins again.

Naples is once again placing animal welfare and the promotion of responsible adoptions at the forefront. The traveling events of "Seeking a Home: Awareness of Adoption" are back, an initiative that will stop in various neighborhoods across the city over the coming months to raise awareness about the relationship between people and animals and encourage the adoption of dogs housed at the "La Collina di Argo" Municipal Reception Center.

The first event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Via dell'Epomeo 155. The "Foundlings in the Squares of Naples" initiative aims to bring information and useful tools directly to citizens who are considering adopting a dog.

Veterinarians from ASL Napoli 1 Centro and specialized technical staff will be present during the meetings, explaining the fundamental aspects of welcoming a pet into their home. From day-to-day management to the owner's responsibilities, the goal is to provide families with the information they need to make an informed choice.

The project also addresses the prevention of stray animals and animal welfare, promoting a healthy relationship between humans and dogs. The initiative focuses not only on the possibility of adopting one of the animals housed in the municipal shelter, but also on guiding residents towards a thoughtful choice that is compatible with the animal's needs.

The traveling events will continue in the coming months in other neighborhoods of Naples, with the goal of bringing more people closer to organizations dedicated to animal shelter and protection and encouraging adoption. The first stop will be Via dell'Epomeo, where residents and families will be able to meet with staff and receive information about adopting dogs hosted at "La Collina di Argo."
