Boss Antonio Abbinante arrested in Scampia: he was in the company of other criminals

The clan leader was traveling with his escort, since the car he was in was accompanied by a second car with another of his most loyal followers at the wheel. Two people were reported. Inside Abbinante's car, motorcycle helmets were found. Raffaele Abbinante had been the contact person for the Scampia boss Paolo Di Lauro for the Marano area until 2004; then, together with his brothers Antonio and Guido, when the first feud broke out, he chose to support the Amato-Paganos and later created his own cartel, with the Abete and Notturno groups, which gradually extended their influence from Marano to the northern districts of Naples, including Scampia, controlling several thriving drug dealing areas.
