Policeman turns 100 and asks to go to the police station as a gift

Peter Marotta, a retired policeman since 1984, has completed in the last few days. Police Chief Grassi, together with officials and colleagues from the Caserta police headquarters, welcomed the centenary policeman at the entrance of Palazzo Acquaviva, and after exchanging greetings, gave Pietro Marotta a commemorative plaque with a dedication from the police chief himself: “To Pietro, our secular policeman, our example of life and sacrifice for the State Police”.

During the meeting, full of memories, Marotta recounted the years dedicated to the State Police. Having enlisted in 1948, he served first in the Mobile Unit of Milan, then at the Police Headquarters of the Lombard capital, until 1974. Subsequently, transferred to the Police Headquarters of Caserta, he served there until 1981, when he was assigned to the Public Safety Police Station of San Carlo Arena.Naples.
