In Naples, occupations of public land are stopped for Mattarella's visit

“To ensure the best possible performance of public order and safety services,” a note from the Municipality of Naples reads , “on the occasion of the visit of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella , scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 27 September, the suspension of authorisations for the occupation of public land has been ordered.”

The order was issued to public establishments for the installation of tables, displays, and other items related to commercial activities, from 8:00 a.m. until the end of the business day on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Violations of this order will be punished with an administrative fine of €25,00 to €500,00.

The areas affected by the suspension of permits are: − via Rampe San Giovanni Maggiore, 2; − via Rampe San Giovanni Maggiore, 1 corner with vico San Giovanni Maggiore; − via de Marinis corner of via Mezzocannone; − Largo Giusso; − Largo San Giovanni Maggiore (gardens).
