Circumvesuviana, disruptions at Pompei Santuario station: delays and cancellations

It's been a troublesome morning for Circumvesuviana passengers , particularly those traveling on the Naples -Poggiomarino line. Due to technical issues at the Pompei Santuario station, trains are experiencing delays and partial cancellations. This was announced by the Ente Autonomo Volturno, the company that manages the Vesuvian lines, among others.

The 7:02 a.m. trains from Naples to Poggiomarino and the 7:42 a.m. train from Poggiomarino to Naples were 20 minutes late, the 8:14 a.m. train from Naples to Poggiomarino was 15 minutes late, and the 8:18 a.m. train from Poggiomarino to Naples was 35 minutes late.

Furthermore: the 8am train from Poggiomarino to Naples instead of minutes late recorded a 54 minute delay. Furthermore, the 30am train from Naples to Poggiomarino limited its journey to Torre Annunziata (cancelled from Torre Annunziata to Poggiomarino) while the 8am train from Poggiomarino to Naples will be cancelled from Poggiomarino to Torre Annunziata.
