Marcianise, truck loses beams: motorist injured

He was travelling in his car when he was hit by some beams that had fallen from the truck in front of him, and was injured and trapped in the wreckage, only to be saved by the firefighters.

It happened this morning around 7 on the Sannitica state road in Marcianise (Caserta), at a roundabout near a well-known shopping center. The firefighters of (Marcianise detachment) intervened on the spot, using their tools to cut the sheet metal, freeing the 55-year-old who was in the passenger compartment.

The man was then taken to hospital by a 118 ambulance.
