Fear for Atalanta captain Toloi: thieves in house in Bergamo, jewels and watches stolen

A recent news story has shaken the Atalanta captain, Raphael Toloi, targeted by thieves. According to L'Eco di Bergamo, the theft took place last Sunday afternoon, while the defender was playing the match between Atalanta and Bologna at the Gewiss stadium.

No member of the footballer's family was at home at the time of the robbery, allowing the thieves to act undisturbed and carry out a veritable raid on jewelry and watches of considerable value. Upon returning, the family made the disconcerting discovery of finding the house completely upside down.

The situation required immediate intervention by law enforcement, with the police at the crime scene. Forensic experts conducted in-depth surveys to search for possible fingerprints, in the hope of shedding light on the dynamics of the theft and identifying the culprits.

Rafael Toloi is unfortunately the fifth Atalanta player to fall victim to similar thefts, following in the footsteps of Boga, Muriel, Demiral and Scamacca. A group specializing in thefts from football players' homes is suspected to be behind these actions, fueling concerns about a possible series of targeted attacks.
