Marseille – Horror struck a house in Orange, in the Vaucluse department in southeastern France: five bodies of dead babies were discovered hidden in boxes.

Police found the remains of the bodies following a report from the couple's husband and the hospital where the woman gave birth last night, her third healthy child. The birth was uncomplicated, but for the third time, the woman appears to have been in denial about her pregnancy.

The husband's discovery alerted the police

According to local media reports, the husband found a small decomposing corpse in a box and took it to the hospital. He then reported the case to the police, who, during a search of the home, found the fetuses in plastic bags inside cardboard boxes.

The couple already has two children, aged 8 and 12. The woman was born in 1994 and is a housewife. According to initial reports, her husband was away when the woman went to the hospital with abdominal pain. That's when he allegedly decided to rummage through some boxes in the house after an argument about their contents.

There he discovered a decomposing body. The man reportedly took the bag to the hospital, which reported the incident to the authorities.

The Avignon judicial police were informed and searched the couple's home, where investigators found what appeared to be fetuses in plastic bags placed inside boxes.
