Naples celebrates its first 100 years: a party in Piazza del Plebiscito, free seating upon reservation.

Naples is preparing for its big August 1st celebration with a show, a parade, and extensive health and safety measures. Admission to Piazza del Plebiscito is free but limited, with reservations required on TicketOne.

A night to celebrate a century of Azzurri history

Naples is ready to experience one of the most anticipated evenings in its sporting history. On Saturday, August 1st, the city will pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of SSC Napoli with a large, free event open to residents and fans from all over Italy and the world.

The event, organized by the club in collaboration with the Campania Region and the City of Naples, will transform the city center into a huge open-air stage where sport, music, art, and tradition will merge to celebrate the unbreakable bond between the team and the city.

The procession through the historic center and the celebration in Piazza del Plebiscito

The day will get into full swing at 19:26 PM, when the procession will set off from Piazza Carità and wind through the main streets of the historic center until reaching Piazza del Plebiscito.

The official ceremony will begin at 20:45 PM, with President Aurelio De Laurentiis, first-team players, numerous club legends, and artists united by their Azzurri faith, taking to the stage.

The goal is to retrace a century of emotions through shows, music, and testimonials that will recount the special relationship between Naples and its city.

Access to the main area of ​​Piazza del Plebiscito will be free, but subject to a maximum number of attendees.

To attend the event, you will need to reserve your seat through the TicketOne platform, starting at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 29th.

Only those who have registered will be able to access the reserved area of ​​the square until capacity is reached.

Hundreds of thousands of people expected

The expected attendance is that of major events. For this reason, the organizers have developed a comprehensive safety and healthcare plan, modeled on the experience gained during the 2023 and 2025 championship celebrations, but further enhanced.

The device will accompany all phases of the event, from the procession along Via Toledo to the final events of the evening.

The extraordinary health plan kicks in

The ASL Napoli 1 Centro and the regional 118 service, under the coordination of regional representative Giuseppe Galano, have set up a dedicated emergency system to ensure assistance to participants without slowing down the city's normal emergency service.

For the occasion, an Event Operations Center (COE) will be activated, connected in real time to the 118 operations center, responsible for coordinating emergency vehicles, medical personnel, and clinical interventions throughout the event.

To avoid any problems with telephone communications, a dedicated radio network will also be used.

Advanced medical point and hospitals on pre-alert

The heart of healthcare will be the Advanced Medical Point (PMA), which will be built in the area outside the Royal Palace.

The facility will be equipped with four beds, first aid equipment, specialized medical personnel, and an ambulance dedicated to emergency transfers.

At the same time, all the main emergency rooms in the city will be pre-alerted, including:

Hospital of the Sea;
Cardarelli;
Santobono;
St. Paul;
Pilgrims;
CTO;
Good Counsel Fatebenefratelli;
Evangelical Bethany.

The regional air rescue service will also remain operational, ready to intervene in the event of major emergencies.

Ambulances, ambulances and first responders along the entire route

The assistance plan will involve 118, the Italian Red Cross, and the Nefrocenter Group.

Along the procession route and in the areas affected by the demonstration there will be:

a 118 ambulance and two ambulance motorcycles;
two Red Cross ambulances with six foot rescuers equipped with defibrillators;
three ambulances from the Nefrocenter Group, one of which is medicalized in Piazza Municipio and two located between Via Cesario Console and Piazza Trieste e Trento;
ten foot rescuers, organized into five teams equipped with emergency backpacks and AEDs.

Operational coordination of the health service will be entrusted to Dr. Achille Iannone.
