Frattamaggiore: the first free Summer Camp for children is underway

Frattamaggiore is preparing to inaugurate its first completely free Summer Camp for 35 children residing in the Municipality. The initiative, welcomed with enthusiasm by the community, will start on Monday 8 July at the new Multipurpose Center in Via Siepe Nuova.

A Social Project of Great Importance

The Special Consortium Company Area No. 17, represented by the general manager Dr. Pietro Dragone, is the main promoter of this initiative, which has received the support of the Mayor of Frattamaggiore, Dr. Marco Antonio Del Prete. “An extraordinary opportunity for many families in our area; we are waiting for July 8th to start this new wonderful adventure together with our children,” declared the Mayor.

The summer camp is aimed at primary school children and will be open from Monday to Friday, from 9.00:15.00 to 8:2, from Monday 2024 July until XNUMX August XNUMX. During this period, children will be able to benefit from a free meal offered by this socio-educational service.

Activities and Fun for Everyone

The Summer Camp program, created by the social cooperative KASA N in the Third Sector sector and represented by Giovanni Nappi, includes a wide range of laboratory and recreational activities. These include drawing, reading, creative recycling, singing, dancing, water games, trampolines, inflatables, balloon art, manipulation, and animation.

Selection of Beneficiaries

To select the 35 beneficiaries of the initiative, a “Public Notice” was published, which received 48 applications. The deadline for submitting applications was set for July 3, and subsequently an investigation phase was started to evaluate the applications, taking into account the economic and family situation of the applicants. The inauguration of this Summer Camp represents an important opportunity for the children of Frattamaggiore and their families, creating a space for growth, learning and fun in a safe and welcoming environment.
