Afragola, Sasso-Parziale clan: the requests for conviction of the Camorra of the Salicelle district

We will have to wait until December for the sentence on the 31 suspects of the Sasso-Parziale clan of the Salicelle district of Afragola.

The investigative activity, conducted by the Investigative Unit of Castello di Cisterna, the Flying Squad of Naples, the Afragola police station and the Afragola Carabinieri station, would have revealed the operations of the Camorra group, a branch of the Moccia clan, active in Afragola with a logistics base in the Salicelle district.

The investigations would have allowed to reveal the alleged operating methods of the clan in the management of illegal activities in the areas of Afragola and Casoria, through violent actions, including episodes of "stese".

The investigators, as reported by Il Roma, hypothesize the existence of two distinct criminal groups, dedicated to drug trafficking, with a monopoly on supplying the drug dealing areas in the Salicelle district and on the retail sale of drugs in the municipality of Afragola and in the surrounding areas.

According to the DDA, the Stone Clan and Parziale would also have had access to numerous firearms, including weapons of war. To assert itself, the new Afragola mafia would have resorted to racketeering and armed robberies against entrepreneurs and traders.
