The flash mob at the Ponticelli school for Santo Romano
Naples. About a thousand students, all dressed in black, paid their last respects to Santo Romano, the 19-year-old killed in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio on Saturday night. Friends and classmates participated in the flash mob organized in the parking lot of the Archimede Institute in the Ponticelli neighborhood, where Romano graduated.
During the event, the students read texts and poems in memory of their friend, whose funeral was held yesterday afternoon. The school principal, Maria Rosaria Stanziano, took the floor, offering support and help to the students in this difficult time.
After the readings, the students dedicated the song "L'ultima Poesia" by Geolier and Ultimo to Romano , before returning to class. A banner displayed read: "Let's defend life, no more weapons and violence."
