Stabbing at a bar in Pontecagnano: attacker identified

The man who stabbed a 38-year-old man inside a bar in Pontecagnano Faiano on Christmas Eve has been identified. He is a 31-year-old local who, at the end of the investigations conducted by the Carabinieri immediately after the attack, was reported at large for assault.

The victim was transported to the “Ruggi d'Aragona” hospital in Salerno who, after being taken care of by the medical staff, was discharged with a prognosis of a few days. The argument between the two would be based on trivial reasons.
