Naples – “He told me that it will be my nightmare and that I will end up like my daughter”. This is the dramatic complaint of Anna Lucarelli, mother of Green Jasmine, the 21-year-old innocent victim of the Scampia feud, brutally killed in 2004.
The woman said she was approached last June, during the first hearing of the trial for her daughter's murder, by a relative of one of the defendants, the father of a man accused of escorting the car in which Gelsomina was kidnapped, tortured and then murdered.
Lucarelli reported the episode on the sidelines of the first-degree trial held at the Court of Naples, which led to the sentencing of Luigi De Lucia and Pasquale Rinaldi to 30 years in prison. The threats are now being examined by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate.
Meanwhile, according to investigative sources, the man who allegedly carried out the intimidation has been arrested for other crimes.
In January 2024, after years of legal battles, the official recognition of the State also arrived for Green Jasmine as an innocent victim of the Camorra, an expected and symbolic step to honor the memory of a girl torn from life by criminal violence.

La storia di Anna Lucarelli è molto triste e fa riflettere su come la violenza possa colpire anche le persone innocenti. È importante che la giustizia sia fatta, ma spero anche che non succeda più cose simili. La memoria di Gelsomina deve essere onorata.
