Contini clan fugitive captured in Naples
Naples – He had been missing for over two years and was captured yesterday while walking calmly down the street in Naples. He is Giovanni Migliaccio, a prominent member and veteran of the Contini clan.
In 2023, after spending over 20 years in prison, he escaped from the workhouse where he was finishing his prison sentence. He was in via Filippo Maria Briganti when he was intercepted by the agents of a police patrol on a patrol in the area.
Giovanni Migliaccio also attempted to escape on a scooter but was stopped and handcuffed. The elderly Camorrista is the father of Antonio Migliaccio , to whom the godfather, Patrizio Bosti , had entrusted the regency of the clan in the Arenaccia area in 2020. During a brief period of freedom (due to an error in the redetermination of his sentences), he had held a summit with his associates at his home.
Now Giovanni Migliaccio returns to prison in this hot summer of 2025 waiting to conclude his sentence and then he will have to face a new trial.
