Naples, Carmine Fusco captured: sentenced to over 8 years

Naples – The escape of Carmine Fusco, a 36-year-old robbery specialist, ended with him in handcuffs. State Police arrested the man, wanted after a sentence of 8 years, 4 months, and 7 days in prison for property crimes.

The raid, conducted by officers from the Flying Squad of the Naples Police Headquarters, was triggered by an order issued on September 2 by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples – Criminal Enforcement Office.

The operation is part of the extensive territorial surveillance operations, intensified in the city's most critical areas. Officers on Via Medina located and captured Fusco within a few days, demonstrating the effectiveness of police surveillance efforts.

The 36-year-old now faces a lengthy prison sentence. Law enforcement officials have announced they will continue their patrols with the same determination in the coming days, aiming to ensure safety and combat crime in the city.
