Fatebenefratelli Naples, CISL FP: "New pilot lawsuits and further union initiatives are ready."

The CISL Fp Naples – Private Healthcare raises its voice again on the Fatebenefratelli of NaplesIn a statement posted on its official website, the union announced that it has begun investigative activities aimed at filing new pilot lawsuits and other collective and individual protection initiatives.

At the heart of the dispute, according to the union's report, remain months-long economic and organizational issues. The union specifically complains about the failure to respond to requests for meetings with the administration regarding wages, recognition of contractual agreements, and labor relations. Particular attention is being paid to the issue of vacation pay.

The CISL Fp recalls national case law according to which workers should not suffer financial penalties for taking vacation time and calls for verification of the correct treatment of staff, with the possible recovery of any accrued wage differences.

But the critical issues reported aren't limited to pay. The union also highlights organizational issues that, in its view, impact staff working conditions and, consequently, the quality of services provided to residents. For this reason, it has requested the intervention of the Health District 24 of the Naples 1 Central Local Health Authority (ASL) to conduct appropriate audits of organizational requirements and regulatory standards.

"Where discussions fail to yield concrete results," the communication states, "protective initiatives can still be pursued through the relevant bodies." CISL Fp specifies that, following the launch of investigations into the electronic meal ticket dispute, investigations into the recognition of holiday pay and other contractual provisions are now well underway.

The union reiterates its priority for dialogue, but warns that a continued lack of concrete responses may necessitate the use of more effective protections. "The request is not for privileges or preferential treatment," the union emphasizes, "but for full respect for workers' rights and proper labor relations."

CISL Fp's position fits into the broader context of accredited private healthcare in Campania, where the failure to renew national collective bargaining agreements and inflation continue to generate tensions and demands for economic and professional development from sector workers. In the coming weeks, should concrete results not be forthcoming, the union has not ruled out launching new initiatives at both the union and judicial levels.
