A raid in the Traiano district seized 6 kilograms of drugs, with three brothers arrested.

Law enforcement pressure on the drug dealing hubs of the Traiano district shows no signs of abating. And so, last day, during extraordinary checks involving the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, State Police officers pulled off a major crackdown on drug trafficking in the Traiano district.

During a targeted search of a home in the neighborhood, officers discovered a suspicious bag. Concealed inside were 85 packages of pure cocaine, weighing a total of nearly 6,5 kilograms, along with all the materials needed to cut and package the doses. Three brothers, aged 64, 60, and 58, were immediately arrested on charges of illegal possession of narcotics.

Police investigations are continuing to determine the three brothers' role in the drug dealing ring. Were they guarding someone else's possession? Or was the drug in their possession, ready to be sold in the neighborhood? They will need to trace the supply channels for the seized drugs and the clientele of the three brothers currently in prison, who have so far refused to cooperate with the investigation.
