Municipality 9 of Naples has ordered the temporary closure of Salvatore Costantino Park, located in the Traiano district, following a fire that broke out on August 12 in an area behind the park.
The flames created a thick column of smoke, requiring firefighters to put out the blaze. For safety reasons, public access was prohibited, with no access beyond gates, fences, and cordoned-off areas.
Only authorized personnel, including rescue teams, municipal technicians, and cleanup companies, will be allowed to access the affected area. The park's reopening will be evaluated once the necessary safety conditions have been re-established.
