Naples is mobilizing against the closure of the Zenita Group's local office, the only one in Italy to suffer this fate. On Friday, June 26, workers organized a protest in front of the company gates, accompanied by Green-Left MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who expressed his full solidarity with the employees. The company's decision requires the 122 workers to be forcibly transferred to the group's other offices, primarily in Rome and some in Salerno, with the real risk of losing their jobs if they refuse.

Employees have criticized management's lack of concrete explanations, emphasizing that productivity and customer satisfaction have always been high. "We don't understand the reasons for this drastic decision," they say, loudly demanding that the Naples office remain operational.

Representative Borrelli called the decision "incomprehensible and almost discriminatory," highlighting the devastating impact on the lives of families and workers, especially considering the company is not in financial crisis. "It's an intolerable paradox," he stated, "to see a company with healthy balance sheets deserting the employment landscape of Southern Italy." Borrelli assured that the fight to keep the Naples office open will continue in all appropriate venues, without retreating.
