Boscotrecase Murder: Breakthrough Overnight: Two Arrested

A trivial condominium discussion related to waste management turned into a tragedy yesterday afternoon in Boscotrecase, in the province of Naples. Salvatore Solimene, 46, lost his life after being seriously wounded by gunfire. Overnight, the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office (under the direction of Prosecutor Emilio Prisco) issued arrest warrants for two suspects, who were arrested by the Carabinieri.

The clash in the garage and the gunshots

According to investigators' initial reconstruction, the tragedy unfolded inside a condominium garage, the same complex where the victim lived. The incident was apparently sparked by trivial motives: a heated argument over the disposal of garbage bags. Words quickly escalated into action, culminating in the tragic outcome. Three gunshots were fired at Solimene; two of them struck him directly, fatally wounding him.

The measures and the murder weapon

The Trecase Carabinieri served arrest warrants for murder on Fulvio Titas, 33, and Antonio Guastafierro, 27. Investigators believe the younger of the two, Guastafierro, pulled the trigger.

The prompt action of the Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata Investigative Unit allowed them to recover and seize the murder weapon: a 9mm pistol with its serial number removed. Along with the pistol, they also found three spent shell casings, four unexploded bullets, and the suspects' cell phones, which are now being examined by investigators. Salvatore Solimene's body was seized for subsequent forensic examinations, while the two arrested were taken to prison.

Deepening

Dying for a garbage bag: the madness that ended Salvatore Solimeno's life Boscotrecase.
Two arrests overnight, but the weight of a community shaken by an absurd and violent act remains.
