Two Out-of-Control Pitbulls Rescued in the Sanità District, Entrusted to the Naples Local Health Authority
Naples – On Saturday morning, in the Sanità district, a patrol of the Green Berets of the Naples Financial Police intervened to secure two large pit bulls that were roaming freely in the street without leashes or muzzles, causing concern among residents.
During an economic inspection of the area, the military was alerted by local residents and temporarily moved the dogs to a local resident's home, pending the arrival of the Naples Local Health Authority veterinary service. The checks revealed that the animals were not microchipped, as required by law.
The two pit bulls are currently in the custody and care of the Local Health Authority (ASL), while investigations continue to identify their owner and ensure public safety in the neighborhood.
