Investigations are underway into a July incident in which a 73-year-old pensioner was attacked after collecting his disabled wife's pension. Experts and detectives are seeking connections to other robberies and analyzing a criminal history between the two arrested men, with new evidence emerging on social media.

Secondigliano: Two suspects arrested for violent robbery. Tailings, stolen smartphone, and a disturbing past.
A pre-trial detention order has been issued for Salvatore Scippa and Antonio Imperatore, both under investigation for a violent robbery committed last July in Secondigliano. The victim, a 73-year-old pensioner, had just left the post office on Via Cassano, where he had collected his disabled wife's pension.
The investigation, coordinated by the Naples Flying Squad and the Secondigliano police station, doesn't stop there. Investigators are also investigating whether the two men repeated the same pattern in other areas of the city.
The attack occurs as the man is riding home on his bicycle. The two men's car approaches. One of the passengers pulls up alongside and rams him. The old man falls. An assailant climbs out of the car: "Don't move. I'll kill you. Give me the money."
A thousand euros are ripped from his pants. In the confusion, his iPhone also disappears. The two flee toward Via Limitone d'Arzano.
A passerby, who noted the license plate, and the victim herself, who provided helpful descriptions, helped nail the scene. Details, it turns out, had already been gathered shortly before inside the post office.
The most unusual aspect of the investigation is digital. A crucial clue comes from a TikTok livestream posted by a family member of one of the suspects. The investigators, mingling among the followers, gleaned information about the whereabouts and identities of the two suspects.
It is from there that the case stops being just a neighborhood robbery and becomes an investigation into movements, contacts, and possible other robberies.
Of the two, Salvatore Scippa is the name already known to law enforcement. In May 2011, he was arrested for robbing a 66-year-old American tourist near the port of Naples. The man was injured. The victim later died.
The current investigation does not overlap the two facts, but keeps them on the same table: the investigators are looking for any connections between past episodes and the recent robberies, without taking for granted a continuity that still needs to be demonstrated.
The two are now in prison, following the execution of the warrant by the State Police. The work, however, has been moved forward: movements, social media traces, recurring locations, possible support networks or planning.
The question that drives the case is just one: How many other heists, if any, bear the same signature?
