A 40-year-old man arrested after a prison break on Corso Garibaldi.

Naples – During a routine patrol, officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid arrested a 40-year-old man for escaping house arrest.

Yesterday, while driving along Corso Garibaldi, officers noticed the man, who, upon seeing them, attempted to quickly run away to avoid being stopped. However, his escape was stopped by the officers themselves, who caught up with him and promptly arrested him at the scene.

Subsequent checks confirmed that the man was under house arrest, from which he had unlawfully left. The arrested man was therefore taken into custody, pending the relevant judicial proceedings. This operation underscores the State Police's constant vigilance in monitoring compliance with the restrictive measures and ensuring public safety in the city.
