Guardia di Finanza Intensifies Drug Controls in Sannio: 50 Grams of Hashish Seized
The Guardia di Finanza (Financial Police) continues to strengthen its presence in the Sannio region with a targeted operation to combat drug trafficking and consumption. In recent days, members of the Economic and Financial Police Unit have conducted extensive checks in the areas deemed most vulnerable, as part of a permanent control plan.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 50 grams of hashish and the reporting of the alleged perpetrator to the local prosecutor's office for violation of Article 73, paragraph 5, of Presidential Decree 309/90. This check is part of a broader strategy aimed at preventing not only economic and financial crimes, but also those related to drug dealing, with particular attention to the protection of minors.
The Guardia di Finanza reiterates its commitment to maintaining high vigilance, ensuring continuous and comprehensive prevention services throughout the province, in order to guarantee greater security and effectively combat the spread of drugs. It is recalled that the reported individual enjoys the presumption of innocence until a final sentence is handed down.
