Naples, an innovative protocol to assist victims of violence: Carabinieri and CO.TU.LEVI unite against all abuse.

A decisive step in the fight against violence in Naples: the Carabinieri Provincial Command and the volunteer organization CO.TU.LEVI have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at building a synergistic prevention and support network for victims. The agreement, signed yesterday at the Pastrengo Barracks, defines shared strategies and integrated interventions to offer personalized care and improve reception in dedicated local centers.

CO.TU.LEVI, active in supporting victims and promoting human rights, offers its expertise through the "Diana Anti-Violence Help Desks," already operating in other Italian provinces. Collaboration with the Carabinieri will strengthen the fight against violence, ensuring timely intervention and ongoing support for those affected.

Aurora Ranno, president of CO.TU.LEVI, emphasized the importance of institutional synergy and highlighted the commitment to prevention activities, particularly in schools, with awareness-raising initiatives aimed at students, families, and communities. Brigadier General Biagio Storniolo, Provincial Commander of Naples, emphasized how this protocol strengthens the Carabinieri's ability to offer effective support that goes beyond reporting, accompanying victims along their journey to recovery and protection.
