Naples tells its story online: the "Naples a New City" portal is launched.

Naples – www.napolianewcity.it, Naples' new tourism portal, is online today. It goes far beyond the traditional institutional website. It is the heart of the digital strategy developed by the Destination Management Organization (DMO), promoted by the Department of Tourism of the City of Naples.

"It is a living, dynamic, and constantly evolving space, designed to collect and showcase editorial content, thematic itineraries, guides, stories, events, and experiences," reads a statement released by the City.
The platform was created as a publishing and destination marketing tool, with the aim of presenting Naples through a fresh perspective.

A digital ecosystem designed to accompany the traveler at every stage of their journey: from initial inspiration to trip planning, through to first-hand experience in the area and building a lasting bond with the city.

"With this portal, Naples is making a quantum leap in the way it presents itself to the world," said Teresa Armato, Councilor for Tourism and Productive Activities for the City of Naples. "We didn't want to create a simple institutional website, but rather a space capable of describing the city through its experiences, its neighborhoods, its culture, and its people.

Today, a destination is competitive if it can build a relationship with travelers even before their departure and engage them with authentic, high-quality content. The new portal represents a fundamental tool for strengthening Naples' international positioning, while also enhancing the work and expertise of the city's entire tourism system.

The sections of the portal

The site's architecture was designed with the user experience at its core. Four main sections guide visitors through the city:
Get Inspired: Stories and content designed to inspire travel
Collections: thematic itineraries and curated experiences
Neighborhoods: The story of the identity of the city's different territories
Events: a constantly updated calendar of cultural, artistic and popular events

Particular attention has been paid to the editorial quality of the content, with the aim of highlighting the diversity of Neapolitan tourism and providing an authentic account of the city, capable of bringing together historical heritage, contemporary culture, traditions, creativity, and food and wine.
Finally, the portal includes a dedicated area for tourism professionals, who will be able to access shared materials, images, and digital content, thus promoting coordinated promotion of the destination.
