Carabinieri raid in Scampia: 25-year-old arrested with drugs, cash, and bullets in his home

Naples – A targeted operation by Carabinieri from the Scampia station led to the arrest of Giovanni Paladini, a 25-year-old known to law enforcement.

The man, already under house arrest, was caught at home with a significant quantity of narcotics: two half-packs and twelve bars of hashish, as well as 24 grams of cocaine already divided into doses and two other packages containing drugs ready for packaging. Drug packaging materials and approximately €2.670 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing, were also found in his apartment.

Completing the picture was the discovery of 46 bullets stored inside the home. After the search, Paladini was arrested and transferred to prison, where he will remain pending trial.

The operation confirms the commitment of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking in the Scampia area, one of the most sensitive areas of the city of Naples.
